The Power of Friendship
The first part of the growth process is subjective distress and then it is self-awareness. The next step is having the opportunity to learn or practice doing things differently in order to progress, grow or get different results. For example, I'm going to start exercising because I feel really low and low energy and ugh. So that would be an action. Sometimes it could be removing something painful from one's life. If it's a toxic relationship, if it's an unhealthy relationship with substances, somebody might say, and I'm done. And this could be somebody literally doing something differently.
