Are You Just a Denial of Consequences?

Ameer: We're still in denial. And this is the crazy thing about living in historic times, am, you know, people just go on about their business. The attitude seems to be, if someone is pointing a loaded gun at me, and i attack them, how dare they actually shoot me with the gun? That's unthinkable.
