Community in the Theatre
When an audience is laughing together, it's so much better than when you're laughing by yourself. When r arns is crying together, it has a quality of communal grief that reaches deeper and is more comforting than private grief. So the collectively experienced emotions are what we go for in the theatre. And hopefully you walk out of it success theatre of an feeling part of the community of peoplew watched it together. It certainly, at its best, reminds you of your shared humanity,. Exactly. A place where we can collectively come together to try and forge shared experiences feels more valuable now than ever.
