Naturopaths are trained healthcare professionals. We have to study basic science at university and then the naturopathic college is a four year postgraduate degree. So it's, you know, it's a medical program, but we learn about nutrition through the whole four years that we're there. And again, I loved having that training in traditional Asian medicine so that when I wanted to expand that I could just go to China and immerse myself in their teaching hospital as well.
Living a high-performance life often comes at the cost of sacrificing your health, but what if it didn’t have to? Oftentimes, conventional medicine uses a “one size fits all” approach whereas naturopathic medicine looks at identifying the underlying causes of issues. In this episode, I am joined by Dr. Valerie Franc who explains the ins and outs of naturopathy and how it can help you heal and live a healthy, high-capacity life.
