I looked Joseph up on Wikipedia and it turns out his life is much more full than the movie even presents. And so for the film when he's playing his music, they just extrapolated from the pieces that were historically found. It was really interesting, but forces prevailed that wanted to make it more straightforward,. But I'd done all those speed ramps and all this came in and then the idea of having him walking down this hallway because nobody said anything different kept coming into my head. So I just worked on that part a week or so with the idea of hearing snippets of conversations about another world as he's walking down the hall.
