Randomly Distributed Lung Nodules - What Causes Them?

There are three patterns of diffuse lung nodules. Those are central lobular, perilymphatic and random. Perilymphatic nodules reflect diseases that get to the lungs through lymphatic vessels. Random distributed nodules represent disseminated infection or cancer.
