Teaching in Higher Ed: How to Extend the Audience

i've been picking up james lang's second edition of small teaching, and this is something that came out to me. He talks about in the book, you now, practising for himself, the difference it has made for him practising talks that he's going to give to different universities. So thinking about extending the audience on a continuum, we can start small.
