Tea and Toast Disease

In a tea and toast disease, we're going to say, well, she only eats, you know, she doesn't have much money and she's drinking tea and she's eating toast. She has some crackers. And that's a purely carbohydrate and water diet. Now, carbohydrates are metabolized to CO2 and water. You exhale that and water is a solvent that makes the situation worse. So if they if you have an alcoholic who's getting all their calories, just through alcohol, just through drinking, they're going to have a very low solute diet. In beer drinkers, potametes, the same thing, right? They drink a lot of beer.
