The Importance of Early Colonoscopy
The benefit of early colonoscopy has been established in multiple randomized trials. It may just reduce length of state, but does not improve survival or freedom from things like IR embolization or surgery. The time when a endoscis goes in there and finds a bleeding diverticulum that they can clip or band or cauterize is case reportable.
