Pascal's Argument for the Fake It Till You Make It
Guillard draws out what he calls the machine the machine is Pascal's name for kind of the dimensions of being human that we're not conscious of which in psychoanalysts might be called drives or you know in animals instincts but Pascal says that we are largely machines. He then bets on this bet on Christianity right bet that is true in Guillard's unit and at this point if the reader is convinced he says to the reader then bets onthis bet on Christianity Right Bet. Are all decisions we make without really knowing exactly what we should do decisions we make in fear and trembling and so Pascal said once you do well then do the things that the saints do.
