The Importance of Intercessory Prayer

Prayer is an invitation from God to enter into the problem and be a participant in its solution. We don't just pray to God because we need it we pray to God as God has ordained us to participate in his redemptive purposes he does the saving he does the drawing but he does it through us as his witnesses He does it through our prayer in our petition on behalf of our brothers that's why we need to get away from self-centered self-focused prayer It's always about what I want what I need why don't we come to God and claim his character on behalf of those that can't pray for themselves?
