Lee: The idea that there's one God and no other gods exist isn't something we see throughout the Old Testament. Lee: But is he speaking to our gods are essentially a way for us to reinforce tribal boundaries and tribal identities? Is there some truth to that? Yeah, but more than that, because especially you remember like reading through the Old Testament and they would bring the art, you know, into battle. They were leading them into battle and they were not supposed to deliver in victory.
