strength training is important once you start getting into your mid to late 30s, 40s, 50s. A lot of runners only focused on running and forgetting about the strength part. Even just setting aside a few times a week that you consistently do it will make a big difference in the long term. If we have developed proper strength, it even helps stabilize our blood sugar levels. It doesn't have to be too complicated, I think.
