The Importance of Research in Engineering

I think at least no one had told us about these sorts of things when I was an undergrad right now. Yeah. So I went to Stanford. I had this fellowship that covered me for three years. And rather than doing what I expect my students to do in Berkeley and down and getting involved in research immediately, I started exploring. But it became clear after about two semesters that they really didn't have any research that would be appropriate for electrical engineers.So then here he was getting his master's degree after two years: It's like, well, I guess what am I going to do next? So I got a job in industry.
