The Importance of Contemplation

Father Jacob Bertrand: In the Dominican mind, contemplation is a broad category of prayer. As Dominicans, we don't like mansions or Wizard's running about. Rather, it's pursuing that friendship with Christ in prayer. It takes place when we celebrate the Mass and pray the divine office together.
