Brett Button's Reaction to Bail
Brett Button was released on bail after spending a night in police cells. The magistrate said she thought there was some level of remorse for his actions. There is no criminal record so the concerns about being a flight risk just weren't where they are, he says. He cried when he was told he was getting bail but he didn't say a word to his family who were sitting behind him at the court. One of the bail conditions he had to surrender his passports and it took several hours before he could be released from jail.
