The Importance of Owning Your Decisions

I think it's understanding that someone does need to own those decisions and that you'll have a better outcome with that is the first step, whoever it is. I do wonder sometimes about certain business stakeholders' ability to properly quote product own something like a churn model. If they don't have some type of software background, they may have some data background, but if they haven't built software before, there has to be a good handoff or negotiation between people that know how to do that and that role. But that could become your whole job, just monit,. At the enterprise scale, like that could be an entire business potentially.
