The Times Product Development Team - Is That Really Important?

The Times has three different types of missions. We have consumer missions, we have monetization missions, and we have platform missions. So editors are embedded within consumer missions. They build centralized commercial products that we can then scale across all of the products in our bundle. There's a totally different third bucket of mission which is all of our platform teams. And so this is everything from monetization platforms like our commerce engine to data platforms where you might have our ML platform or just basic kind of infrastructure.
