A Book Review of Cost of Living by Emily Maloney

The surveillance of mothers is made concrete in this book. It feels like, you ware saying, like social satire, that that's how a lot of moms feel all the time. And i think also, i just find the american concept of motherhood, where you have to be happy, grateful, present, relaxed and just like, completely tuned into your child at all times, otherwise you're selfish. Because it's basically saying, like, your dost not allow to be a person any more.
