A priest in Milwaukee lost his faculties to hear confessions. The bishop stripped him of those faculties after he published an editorial supporting a Minnesota law requiring priests to break the seal of the confessional. Father James Connell republished an op-ed supporting a bill that would remove legal protections for the confessional seal.
