Why Do Scots Wear Kilts?

A kilt usually features tartan patterns, checked designs of various sizes and colours. Many types are associated with old Scottish clans or families. For many Scots, choosing a kilt doesn't involve trying out lots of designs. They simply pick one with their family tartan. So my name is not Campbell, but my ancestors were called Campbell, and that's why I wear a Campbell of Argyle tartan.
