Joe Biden's brother set him up on a blind date with a woman who Frank knew from college, but whom Joe Biden had never met. She was born with the name Jill Jacobs, but two years later, in 1977, she would become Jill Biden. They got married, but he continued to live in Delaware and would commute to Capitol Hill.
