The Importance of Naming

I think it's important to understand that we're looking back on decisions that were made without maybe as much thought as we might give to it now. The act of naming has taken on incredible importance now. And Van Wijk, for all that, he was an unbelievably corrupt mayor. Does it justify having a road named after him? Probably not, but at least it's a terrible road. So it sort of reflects something about him, maybe. I don't know.
