i think we can be defeated in our imagination by the scale of the transformationr ired. But we have to remember that these transformations happen at many different levels. i shared an event in london recently that was totally fascinating. The women's budget group, a marvellous group of feminist economists, had organized this event and it was about community initiatives in the u k. To the climate crisis. And it really showed how, really in your own location, you can start to make changes,. not individual changes.
As the COP26 global climate summit takes place, many are asking who is really responsible for the climate emergency and who might be able to prevent it? Dr Anne Karpf is a writer and sociologist whose recent book, How Women Can Save the Planet, looks to analyse some of these questions in more granular detail. The BBC's South Asia correspondent Rajini Vaidyanathan speaks with Anne to learn more about the book.
