I spent ten hours a day in front of a computer. In psychiatry, the least amount of time in front of the computer, i got to sit with human beings. So it's sad how my passion died out. Growing up and learning more the ical, boring stuff, this is where the value comes from. Do the level best that you can find work that you consider more engaging.
