The Origins of Music at an Early Age

I was enamored with music at an early age and tried to play the trumpet was my first instrument. I realized pretty quickly how connected you had to be to play that instrument. So then I picked up the guitar when I was like 13, a friend of mine,. It played and it lived in my neighborhood and we just started jamming out a little bit, taught me some chords. That's where kind of the genesis of that came. And I started writing poetry and, you know, singing school choirs and things like that. Then I got a drum machine and started in a four track and started kind of messing around with, you know., making demo tapes.
