How to Interview a Scientist
Sally Kohn: I was going to ask about this interview process and like, what are you looking for both, in the first step, where you decide like who to reach out to. And then in the second step of like, when I'm cutting, what am I listening for that ultimately is like, that's the magic sauce that's going to make this great? She says they usually look for if they're a good fit, but also try to get diverse scientists since most academia is still mostly white, cis men. "I think makes it much more interesting show to listen to when we try really hard to break outside of that typical framework," she adds.
