Charlemagne - The Most Consecutive Political Figure Since Augustus
The most consequential political figure since Augustus in European history, would be until Napoleon Bonaparte. He was truly incredible he conquers Germania northern Italy southern Denmark northeastern Spain and makes vassals of a lot of territories on his eastern borders. In 100 years of Carolingian rule there's something like nine times as many sources as all remaining of the merovingian sources so probably more than that.
