Quill: I often joke that if people would just have direct conversations at work, i'd be out of a job. Quill: There are two reasons we are not candid. The first is, i believe that if i was authentic and revealed, you wouldn't like me,. You would reject me. We don't want to control other people's experience. It doesn't mean te empathy is unreal or not genuine. But those are the reasons people don't reveal.
