The Importance of Balance

In a lot of sprint training, the skill you develop is the ability to inhibit what is wrong so that you can do what is right. Structure dictates function and function over time transforms structure. The way to catch the most is to have that bandwidth of not fully specialized in one thing at the expense of what's needed to be specialized in another. It makes me think too about just the importance of what you call general physical preparation.
