God created mankind in his own image and the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. Paul quotes this exact verse and then says, this is a profound mystery. And you think he's talking about marriage? The husband and wife coming together and having sex and becoming one flesh, that's not what Paul's talking,. This is a profound Mystery, but I'm talking about Christ and the church. These two verses are the most significant, crucial and meaningful verses if you want to know who we really are as male and female.
