Depression and Mindfulness

Mindfulness is such a powerful intervention because it's all about non-judgment of whatever is happening. If you're doing mindfulness, we want to encourage you to view your sad moods as events that pass through the mind and not indicators of reality. Depression lies and says it's never going to go away. There is no hope you will always feel this. That even within any given day there's ups and downs in mood. So part of depression is the sense of permanency and it just isn't.
