The Risks of Starting a Startup
There's certainly a lot of career decisions where the downside is extremely limited. The upside is exponential, and people call those things risky. Part of it is just raw opportunity cost. At some point, it gets too expensive to do a startup. But the other piece of it is, all that other stuff accumulates, and just starts eating away time. That's really misunderstood as a risk in life - your time is gonna go away.
