But it's interesting when you start teasing apart the practices. If you take a bunch of soil and you stockpile it and leave it for a long time, that may end up reducing the spore bank and making the sporebank less effective. So stockpiling the soil may not be all that effective. And then in terms of taking soil from one location and applying it to another location, if there were certain factors in the land that you were trying to restore, you would have certain ecological elements in play.
