The Green Destiny: A Mischievous Last Hurrah
All three of the main female characters, Shulian, Jade Fox and Jen have all been negatively impacted by male dominated uses of power. Will she end up like her adoptive older sister, who has submitted to masculine authority or will she end up in open defiance? The two possibilities are reflected in the lives of the older female characters. Most of the movie is Jen trying to figure out who she is. It asks how the feminine will relate to the masculine moving forward in light of its suffering.
