In Acts 14, 22, it says they're confirming their souls. And then it said, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. The Lord's interested in our eternal welfare, not our daily comfort. He isn't asking us to walk across the continent. He's asking us to give all of our worldly possessions to build a temple.
