What Happened to the Martian Water?
New research suggests that most of the Martian water, up to 99% of it, was sucked up into the rocks. NASA scientists were able to make this hypothesis based on rock samples from the Martian surface. And by using this data, I guess they were able to predict that Mars once had a giant ocean.
