Is There Any Balance Between Bacteria and Arcaa?

Bacteria tend to be more common the arcaa, but i don't think anybody would ascribe that to the difference in the stereo chemistry. The head group, cen bacteria tend to be a bit more sophisticated. They've come up with more different forms of chemistry and they grow a bit faster. That may be related to the membranes, possibly becausete bacterial membranes are a bit sloppier.
