The Meteorite and Its Impact on the Earth
Inhuits were arctic highlanders in a specific area of northern greenland, as opposed to the larger population of innuits. Recent population estimates of inhuits put them at about 800 total. They had their own dialect. We don't know how the innuit communities near the meteorite knew it was useful. Maybe if she would, say, a shaman, helped someone break through their amnesia.
