The Politics of the Workplace
Gramsci writes hegemony is born in the factory, which has often been taken a slightly too reductive way. He says leadership is born in norms of conduct in workplaces and all kinds of workplaces. Politics takes place not only in the official political sphere as in the other. Gramsci's notion of the organic intellectual isn't phrase that Gramsci uses parentheses in English.
