The Importance of Handling Disappointment

In Exodus chapter 20, 32, the people of Israel ask for a substitute God who will then go before them. They wanted to serve a God who they could see, that they could touch and that they could control. In fact, by doing this, they're ironically breaking the first two commandments in the first place. But I think when we understand their response makes it significantly more relatable.
