The New Testament Is a Living Covenant
Jesus did not come to abolish the law, he came to fulfill the law. There are certain laws that no longer apply, even though God's covenant is a living covenant. We recognize that Jesus as the fulfillment of the law,. That the temple worship is fulfilled in Jesus as well. Everything in the Old Testament is revealed in the new and the New Testament is hidden in the Old.
