California's Water Infrastructure Is Not Ready for Extreme Storms Like That
The chances are very high that things will be worse than they ever have been in California rain wise and to a degree that it's going to affect the infrastructure that's in place. We haven't built any of our infrastructure to accommodate an event like the flood of 1861 to 1962, even though we know it can happen because it already did. And there was a model that was ran called the NCAR, which showed that a steadily warmer climate can be expected to make a rare one in 200 year arc storm event occur once every 40 or 50 years. It just seems like is anyone going to be in California by 2070 or 2080? I think about what do people do if you have millions
