I think that the book is rewritten looking beyond the current inflation episode, the current higher rate episode. I would argue that first they're not terribly high at the height of a battle against inflation. And there's no reason to think that they will now go back to something like we had before COVID. So then where does that leave the Federal Reserve, the ECB in terms of the balance of risks?
