The Importance of Intellectual Humility

In light of incoming evidence that disproves my long standing and cherished position, I'm humble enough to change it. That's kind of one way we could like intellectual humility. The second ability you're referring to would be something that, as many psychologists would call that, can ametacognition. It's not merely a matter of metacognitively, you know, accuracy or calibration but there's also this kind of social component of not being boastful even of things that are that are true.
