Marketing is really simple and hasn't changed that much for about maybe like 120 years or something. I think somehow we've got obsessed with the idea that everything's different. People are just obsessed with their own personal sort of political compass, so they feel the need to impart it on others. Marketing doesn't involve real complexity it doesn't involve measuring every single thing and commissioning survey after Commissioned Survey. It involves getting tiny bits of information into people's heads that quite boring but important in modern ages.
