I think it depends on what we want to get out of our use of social media. I don't think you could have genuine authentic freedom and open and rational critical debate in a liberal and capitalist society which is really not freedom at all right. You do have to have an ability to establish a form of trust that allows you to to be able to reason freely in the public. There's something about the not romantic love but there's a love relationship in the analytic relationship as far as you're able to choose one other person into whom you give your trust.
