Is It a Shot Spotter?
Shot spotter technology is expensive to deploy. It's $10,000 per square mile just to install the microphones and get them up and running. Every year after that, it's over $60,000 per sq ft to operate. The tech doesn't seem like they're being particularly transparent about it,. And I guess there's good reason could be trade secret type stuff proprietary algorithms.
