There's so many aspects of recovery that I don't think people talk about. Stress, sleep, oxygenation have a bigger impact on your physiology than like a couple of sets of squats or something. If you're not getting enough recovery from these things and you're not putting yourself into good mental and emotional space, it is going to be way worse for your overall recovery after the gym. And then we also touched on diet for a quick second.
