Simon Tisdall: There's a common infection called chrystroid, EOID, is difficile. Unchect, untreated, this infection can clearly be life threatening. He says people who have inflammatory bowel disease are most at risk from developing the infection. And he says if you already have a damaged dysbiotic gut, then there is a higher risk of having complications as a result of your antibiotics.
